I went to the US Air Force Armament Museum. I thought this would be a good chance to test out the new lens. As many of you know, it's a nightmare to try and take pictures at museums due to the dim lights. If you don't use a flash, the pictures come out blurry due to camera shake. If you do use a flash, then you get really bright hot spots and the area around the bright spots are dark. Don't even get me started on things behind glass with a flash... Anyway, this museum has both outside and inside exhibitions. The outside consists of planes and inside consists mostly of different types of armaments. I also stopped by the beach on the way home and took some pictures. It was overcast, but I like how the pictures came out.
UH-1 Iroquios
Rear end of a F-16 Falcon
F-15 Eagle
 A-10 "Tank Killer"
AC-130 Spectre - This thing is crazy with all the guns.
I didn't get the name of this plane. Look at the score card.
The almighty B-17 Flying Fortress
Guess what plane this is???
Scroll down for a *HINT*
Give up?
Yes, it's the Blackbird. The SR-71. This thing is huge. It's a cockpit built on a fuel tank with 2 huge engines on the side.
Okay, now onto the indoor shots. This is where my new lens really came in handy. The f2.8 really helped out.
The Fat Man bomb!
On the drive home, I decided to stop by the beach and get some pictures. Enjoy!
